Question 1

Does this kit work on all types of windshield cracks and chips?

Accepted Answer

It’s best suited for small, fresh chips under 1 inch in diameter. Many users on Reddit and TikTok report poor results on larger cracks or star-shaped damage. Avoid using it on spider-web cracks or damage longer than 2 inches, as the nano fluid may not fill them completely.

Question 2

How long does the repair last after using this kit?

Accepted Answer

Durability varies. Some users see repairs hold for a few weeks, while others notice the crack reappear or spread after a car wash or temperature change. For a longer-lasting fix, professional resin injection is recommended. The kit includes a suction cup and curing light, but the bonding strength may not withstand extreme weather.

Question 3

Why does the suction cup keep falling off during application?

Accepted Answer

This is a common complaint. Ensure your windshield is completely clean and dry before attaching the suction cup. If it still loses grip, try applying slight pressure for 30 seconds. Some users found that using a drop of water on the rubber edge improves adhesion, but the cup’s design can be finicky on curved or textured glass.

Question 4

Can I get a refund if the repair fails?

Accepted Answer

Refund policies depend on the seller. The product has a low average rating of 2.6 out of 5 stars, and many reviews mention difficulty getting support for failed repairs. Check the seller’s return policy before buying—some platforms offer buyer protection, but don’t expect a hassle-free process for this specific item.

Question 5

Who is this kit actually suitable for?

Accepted Answer

It’s ideal for drivers with a tiny, fresh chip who want a quick, low-cost stopgap before professional repair. It’s not recommended for critical visibility areas or large damage. If you’re a DIY beginner, consider more reliable alternatives like Permatex or Rain‑X kits, which have clearer instructions and better user feedback.
