Question 1

Are these earbuds compatible with PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or phones without a headphone jack?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they work with any device that has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, including PC, PS5, Xbox controllers, and Nintendo Switch in handheld mode. For phones without a headphone jack, you’ll need a USB-C or Lightning adapter (not included). Many TikTok users confirmed they work great with mobile gaming—just make sure your adapter supports audio.

Question 2

How’s the microphone quality for gaming and calls?

Accepted Answer

The inline mic is functional for casual calls and in-game chat, but it’s not studio-grade. Some Reddit users noted it sounds a bit muffled compared to dedicated boom mics. If clear voice communication is critical for competitive gaming, you might want a headset with a better mic. For everyday use and Discord, it gets the job done.

Question 3

Do they come with different ear tip sizes, and will they stay in my ears during exercise?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the package includes small, medium, and large silicone tips. Most users find a good fit for casual listening and gaming. However, for intense workouts or running, the stock tips may loosen—many buyers recommend swapping to foam ear tips (like Comply or SpinFit) for a more secure seal. They’re lightweight enough to be comfortable for hours.

Question 4

Is there a warranty, and what’s the return process like?

Accepted Answer

The product comes with a standard 30-day return policy through most sellers, and some offer a 12-month warranty against defects. If you receive a damaged unit or have issues, contact the seller directly—most are responsive. Keep your packaging and order number handy. A few buyers mentioned getting a quick replacement after reporting a faulty jack.

Question 5

How do these compare to more expensive IEMs or gaming headsets?

Accepted Answer

For the price (typically under $20), the Ak3file punches well above its weight—especially in bass response and clarity. Many YouTube reviewers compare it favorably to $50–$60 headsets. That said, it lacks features like volume controls and a premium mic. If you’re a budget-conscious gamer or music listener, it’s a fantastic value. If you want a neutral audiophile tuning or a detachable cable, consider stepping up to options like the Moondrop Chu.
