Question 1

Is this 4 fl oz bottle really "huge"? What size should I expect?

Accepted Answer

The 4 fl oz size is larger than most essential oil bottles (typically 0.5–1 oz), which is why we call it "huge" — it offers excellent value for diffusers or DIY projects. For reference, it's roughly the size of a standard soda can, not a gallon jug. If you need a smaller sample to test the scent, we recommend starting with our 1 oz option.

Question 2

How does the scent compare to other cedarwood oils – is it truly 100% pure?

Accepted Answer

Our oil is 100% pure and natural, cold-pressed from cedarwood. Many TikTok reviewers note it has a warm, woody scent that blends well with lavender or orange. However, some users find it lighter than other brands like Plant Therapy or Now Foods — those brands often use a different variety of cedarwood (Atlas vs. Virginian). If you're used to a stronger, more resinous cedar, this oil may feel more subtle and sweet.

Question 3

Are there any issues with the bottle breaking during shipping?

Accepted Answer

We've heard feedback about occasional glass breakage. We've now added extra bubble wrap and double-walled boxes for all orders. If your bottle arrives cracked or leaking, simply email us a photo and we’ll send a replacement within 48 hours — no return needed. We recommend storing the bottle upright to avoid pressure on the dropper seal.

Question 4

Can I use this directly on my skin, or do I need to dilute it?

Accepted Answer

For most people, cedarwood is considered a "dilution recommended" oil. While it's less irritating than many citrus oils, we always suggest mixing it with a carrier oil (like jojoba or coconut) at a ratio of 3–5 drops per teaspoon for massage or topical use. For diffusers, 4–5 drops per 100ml of water works well. If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test first.

Question 5

Is this a good option for making soap or candles? Does the scent last?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — this size is ideal for soap and candle makers. Many DIYers on YouTube report the scent holds up well in cold-process soap and doesn't fade significantly during curing. For candles, use at the standard fragrance load (around 6–8% of wax weight). The woody scent pairs especially well with orange or patchouli. Just ensure your soap-making recipe accounts for a slight discoloration (a light tan tint).
